There are a lot of women out there who turn to books when it comes to satisfying their men and I thought that it was about time that I had a look at these books to see if they really were worth reading or just more hype to get you to part with your money.
Here are 3 Understanding Men Books that I have reviewed:
1. Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey
2. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus by John Gray
3. The Women Men Adore and Never Want To Leave by Bob Grant
Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey - I like this guy because he gives advice like me – a man. His understanding men book is cited as being a funny, honest and foolproof guide to all women who really want to know what men think about love, sex and commitment.
The reviews on Amazon for this book sounded promising and women were raving about it. So what did I think? Actually I must admit I really did enjoy what Steve had written and I think he really does hit on a lot of things that women miss when it comes to sex and us men. It gives very practical and realistic advice and if you are looking to learn a few home truths about us men and sex this is well worth the read.
Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is an all time classic when it comes to the male female relationship and this is a book I have never read. I have to admit though that the parts about men and how they relate in relationships really did make sense and I picked up some good tips about women too and how to get what I want.
The reviews for this book are amazing and most women swear by it and I can’t blame them. John Gray really does hit the nail on the head when it comes to explaining men in relationships but if you want to take things a little bit further and focus more on sex and satisfying your man then I recommend that you check out Mars and Venus in the Bedroom when you finish this book. Mars and Venus in the Bedroom takes things a little further and tells you all about men and sex and believe me most of it is spot on.
The final book that I read was called The Women Men Adore and Never Want to Leave by Bob Grant who is also known as the Relationship Doctor.
This book is amazing even if I do say so myself. The reviews for the book were excellent but seeing as though it was a sales page and not on Amazon I was a bit skeptical. I needed have been. This book is great and I even discovered why I am attracted to certain type of women too. I know I was doing research to help all you ladies out but this book also has some great information for men too. You could definitely use this book to your advantage though because once you know what men look for in relationships you really will have the upper hand. I probably shouldn’t have even mentioned this book because a lot of women are going to discover some of our little secrets when they read this one.
I have to say, self help books on relationships are not at all what I thought they would be and I was shocked and surprised to find that these understand men books really can help. If you are having a hard time understanding exactly how to satisfy your man both in and out of bed then these self help books can work wonders. I would definitely recommend all three but if you want to go for just one then I would suggest you read Bob Grant’s book first as you might not need another one after you implement his suggestions.

I really liked this post. I think it’s because of it’s editorial “feel” (for lack of a better word). The only book I have read is ” Men Are From Mars”. Where can Bob’s book be purchased, and what is the cost? It would be helpful to hear a summary of his book.

I have all three books and yes , would recommend each , I think if i had to pick one over the others it would be Bob Grants , to know that men dont want to be in competition with their women is so refreshing and this was recently backed up by a conversation with a young man of 19 who had just been dumped by his 17yr old girlfriend , plain and simple he said , “i dont like fighting and some girls , just want to go on and on and on , I really hate it ”
Also want to say Thanks Jay , one evening was txting the love of my life and just kept sending him messages , recipricated , of course , lol , laced with words from your talk dirty book and in the end he said , “Stop please baby ,lol, you are doing my head in and i have to get some sleep, xoxox “
