What are the most popular excuses for turning down sex?
I have no idea BUT I’ll try and find out statistically…with a little help from you.
Using comments from MYM reads and a survey to 1000′s of subscribers I will uncover the most popular excuses for turning down sex.
Why? I want to see if there’s a common theme that can be easily solved…so we can eliminate or resolve the excuse and help the world enjoy more sex, OK?
Editor: Share any and all male and female excuses below…
I will share the top results from the survey with everyone in 1 week.

My man uses the excuse that he’s too stressed to have sex. I don’t quite get this, because to me it’s a great stress reliever and I know that he’s more relaxed afterward.
@ Jessie. So does mine and I don’t understand either. And to be clear, I am not asking for a marathon, complete with acrobatic moves, candles and music. A quickie during these times is just what the doctor ordered.
Stephanie,
I turned down sex last night and didn’t even give a reason.
GUILTY!
I should have asked for a handjob instead.
My ex-bf/bf/no label or definition guy…..yes, means we split and after 5 months have been hanging out and spending almost every evening together for the past 6 weeks. We had sex 3 weeks ago and since then have only had it twice since then. I want and would love to have it more, but he says sometimes he is in the mood and sometimes he isn’t, and that he is weird like that! After a 2 year committed relationship, no proposal….only a split up and now hanging out without putting a label on it,,,,just seeing where it goes! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!
So, how can I get him to man-up and move to the next level and how can I inspire him to have/want sex more??? I love sex and I am ok with my body….I accept that I have flaws, but I am getting better with age! I was 200 lbs in high school; I have worked hard and continue to maintain a slender frame, with imperfections as everyone has…. I know that I am phenomenal at BJ’s and love to give my man a good show in bed. I even express to him that I am willing to do or try whatever he has in mind as long as I’m ok and comfortable with it…..all he has to do is open up and talk to me about it, sort of share his fantasy!
I don’t think most women are that comfortable with their sexuality, so I feel like I a little different from the norm….. Here is a little more information so that maybe you can help…. The last year and a half of our relationship, my bf would watch internet porn and masturbate a lot. I can totally accept that men do this, but there is a problem if they are doing it more than they are having sex with their partner! Went from every 2 to 3 days, to once a week, then to eventually maybe once a month…..
Any advice???? Can you help?????
Monet, my system deleted your question somehow after I read it. Repost it here, please
You have a Common issue. Sounds like a good topic for upcoming issue. Stay tuned, OK?
Well ive been married for 9 years and my hubby uses every excuse under the sun to not have sex, now instead of No i just get the blunt you disgust me! You dont turn me on etc! anything that could be cruel or a totally degrading put down! but if i hang out long enough i get some eventually but its very heart renching and really makes you feel like crap inside and out.
Na,
That sounds awful!
May I ask why you are together? I’m going to make an assumption that you have kids, is that right?
Do you find him attractive?
My boyfriend pulls the, “I really don’t need sex to be happy with you” card, whereas I get pissed every time he turns me down. We’ve talked about it, but I really thought that all guys loved sex and getting BJs whenever and that it was us women holding everything up, but reading some of these comments, I’m happy to know that I’m not the only one going through the same thing!
